I absolutely love Josh Smith, so here's a classic blues shuffle in E that uses a lot of Josh's trademarks including hybrid picking, Danny Gatton style cascades, impeccable phrasing and of course nailing the changes! I fully intended on making a full length walkthrough of this before going away, but on the day of recording there was a fire alarm going off all day - the best laid plans and all that! 😂
Let me know in the comments if you'd like me to do a breakdown. This actually started life with me trying out a 2.07 Dunlop Jazztone pick - it's pretty hefty but has a great sound for blues and jazz!
