This Model A Ford has too much power for its own good and attracts its fair share of strange comments from passersby. The car gathered dust on Colton Bass’s family farm for roughly 45 years before they started fixing it up. When work finally began on the car, they wanted to design it true to the 1950s style, with a transmission and motor that comes straight from that era. Plus, almost every part of the car is handmade, as it would have been back in the 50s.
Colton grew up working on cars with his dad, and when he passed away, Colton found that fixing up this car helped him feel closer to his dad and turned something negative into a positive.
He loves having an old-school ride that has character and personality that you can feel from a different time.
Colton is a Quality Control Technician at Speedway Motors.
