Should You Play Strider (Sega Genesis) Today?
In this review of Strider which is an action platformer released in 1990 by Capcom for the Sega Genesis or Mega Drive.
It's based on the 1989 Arcade Machine and offers one of the best hack and slash platforming experiences
of all time.
Upon release of Strider for the Mega Drive, it was deemed a killer app for the system as well as being declared the game of the year in 1990.
Strider has been ported to the Wii Virtual Console shop and was included on the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive mini consoles to hit store shelves in 2019.
