goodbye connectland.
this is the first video of 2 or 3.
this took over 6 hours to edit and started as a bit of a joke; sound design and lining shit up is a bitch
I'm thinking about dating the connectland to some card and putting it somewhere, I know how dumb this is, but I don't really care.
a lot has happened to me in the last 7 years and I'm definitely not the same person I was, I've thrown this thing, the switch covers are broken, and it got old blue tack on the back to keep it in place so it wouldn't disconnect, but despite all that, it just kept working.
To be honest, it still technically works today, and who knows maybe he will be revied one desperate day in the future, but I doubt it. He just got worse and worse over the years, like an old man starting to die (yes it's morbid, I'm edgy, shut up)
anyway, connectland, despite how sad (and yes, it genuinely makes me a little sad now after making this video), he just couldn't cut it.
goodbye connectland, you did me proud.
next tribute video, whenever I make it, is gonna be to our cats we lost last year to age and cancer in 2021, I never got to really say goodbye to them myself and it's sad, but that's a much more serious video that's gonna need ten times more work.
