This is the first time in the history of this channel that you're going to hear my voice !
Originally I wanted to add a voiceover to explain some of the things I did during the build, but it ended up just being pointless trivia about my life, and random nonsense. I just can't help it, sorry :) For the technical side of things, you'll have to check out the upcoming tutorial, more on that bellow.
Quick recap: because of a wrist injury, I made a guitar using only my right hand in October 2020, and this video shows you how I did it.
By the way, the silent version of this video is still out there: • I built a guitar with one hand.
0:00 intro
0:20 body
5:12 neck
8:00 fretboard
15:37 details and finish
20:00 hardware and electronics
21:46 one hand demo and beauty shots
This guitar is going to be used for a tutorial I'm currently preparing, using unpublished extra footages that I shot during the build.
It's going to be a two-parter (about 22 minutes long) and it's meant to be "The ultimate guide for weekend woodworkers and other guitar enthusiasts who always dreamed of making a guitar but never knew where to even start".
The first part is almost done ! (writing this on December 28th) and I can't wait to release it :)
As I said at the end of the video, this is most likely a one time thing, I don't plan on making other building videos with a voiceover, but I like to test out new things every now and again.
I don’t know what I’m gonna build next, but you’ll find out on my instagram @ instagram.com/tchiksguitars
Thanks for watching !
