Passing through Kramatorsk on the way to Kostyantynivka, to deliver food and medical aid. This is Part 3 of the drive. Max and I had loaded up my Jeep with as much food as we could carry and some medical aid and we ended up meeting with an awesome group of people, including Peter and Tatyana, who I will focus on and promote more of in the next video.
Both Kramatorsk and Kostyantynivka have suffered in the war and have been damaged, more so Kostyantynivka which is really just a military town now for staging and R&R, same as Kramatorsk. Many people evacuated and have not yet returned. As we saw on June 27th 2023, Kramatorsk was hit by missiles and many young people were killed and many others injured. So both towns still come under regular attack.
Kostyantynivka is only 20kms from Bakhmut and 15kms from Andriivka, both areas that at the time of this video were still the front line or zero line for fighting. The thud of distant artillery is ever present standing in Kostyantynivka. It is 225kms SSE from Kharkiv or about a 3hr, 30min drive.
I am proud to be an official volunteer in Ukraine and continue to support Ukraine with my mates Max and Neil, and a special group (PK) of souls who are now based out of Slovyansk.
Anybody who wishes to help by donating can use the existing links below including the new crowd funding link. I make regular trips into Ukraine to deliver aid and people are welcome to accompany me. You can use the channel email [email protected] to get in touch. Genuine people only thanks. I can also organise for aid to get into the country via #Romania and provide logistical support in Ukraine via our volunteer network.
