Wow! My first video request! :)
This was a request to show how to take a coloring book image off the internet and turn it into a SVG file in Inkscape to cut in SCAL . She wanted me to show how I made the cut file for the 'Hello Kitty in Kimono', but I thought I would show something a little more simple to start with.
I learned this technique by watching videos by LAS cricut, Scrappydewcreations and a lot of trial and error. Check out cuttingtimes and Penny Duncan Creations for more good videos. There are also other places on the internet that have tutorials for Inkscape.
