Hello everyone,
I wanted to do this video to share what did worked best for me to improve by leap and bounds.
Rule: Dedicate a minimum 15 minutes to self-improvement every day. No exceptions, no excuses.
Taking small steps consistently results in rapid progress with an exponential effect.
How to get started:
1) Pick your goal. You don't need exact specifics, but at least the direction you wish to pursue (e.g., financial success, recognition, etc.).
2) Determine the skills necessary to achieve that goal (e.g., Communication, improvisation, leadership, technical skills, etc.).
3) Explore available resources (e.g., podcasts, Udemy courses, workshops like OWASP, books, etc.). There are numerous free options accessible to everyone.
4) Find what fits best into your schedule (e.g., during your commute to work).
5) Start ! Don't wait for the perfect moment or timing; it'll never come.
Why do I believe this is beneficial? We possess a finite reserve of willpower, and the demands of daily life gradually deplete this reserve. While it might be feasible to push through momentarily, in the grand scheme, it becomes unsustainable. Consequently, I've come to the realization that I need to determine the minimal effort required—something almost effortless—that I can consistently manage every day without fail.
Note 1: 15 minutes is the minimum. Never limit yourself; if you're having a good day, go for it ! (My average is 15 hours a week).
Note 2: Pushing beyond your comfort zone may not be enjoyable, yet it leads to growth and propels you forward!
