What to say about Modd (Stanislav and Vladimir)? There was never in any year i follow music so detailed (from the year 2000 on) more clear and easier to choose who is the newcomer of the year as it is this year. It is to me incredible how can somebody produce so many beautiful melodies and atmospheres as this two did in just 1 year (all those tracks have been released in just 1 year!). It was really time for a Modd trip to honour the beauty of this guys magical deep house music and combine all the beautiful melodies and stories in one mix. If somebody can produce such incredible music in his first year, we can be only ecstatic what future will bring for this talented Russian artist. Modd is one of those artists again that proves electronic music can be real art and unbelievable emotional and magical.
