VW Passat Wiring Harness repair

In this video you can see, how i fix the wiring harness on my Father´s car, a VW Passat 3B. None of the interior lights were burning, but the worst thing was, that he couldn´t open the fuel cap any more. I found that many wires on the left side were broken because of oxidation. So i tried to do a soldering job to connect the wires again and put shrink tubes on them. It was not easy because the wires were damaged of oxidation and i had to put extensions on them.
