If you’re not already familiar with our Philippines travel content… I’m an American, living part-time with my family in Metro Manila, and I’m about to challenge 10 filipinos to some Philippines trivia right here on the streets of BGC. Each competitor will square off against me for a single Philippine history, geography, or culture question prepared secretly by my wife, Erin. If I answer it correctly first, my opponent has to take a symbolic shot of my tart dalandan juice concoction. If THEY answer it correctly first, I have to take a shot. If we both get it wrong, we both take shots. If all goes to plan, my 2 years exploring the culture of the Philippines will help me hold my own in this challenge. But if my opponents know as much Philippines trivia as they should, I could be in big trouble.
