Nikon L35AF (Pikaichi) Unboxing & Walkthrough - Best Nikon Point and Shoot Film Camera?
Nikon L35AF known as the Pikaichi which mean top notch in Japanese according to Nikon website. It is a leaf shutter, auto focus, auto exposure 35mm Point and Shoot film camera.
Nikon put a lots of work to this 35mm f2.8 lens, it has 5 elements in 4 groups. The minimun focus distance is 80cm and there is a 46mn filter thread.
Flash has a range of 0.7m to 2.5m through to 4.0m depending on loaded film's speed. Viewfinder is 85% coverage with 0.52x magnification, with focus distance showing inside.
Something to mention about this camera there is an exposure compensation that add around 2 stops of exposure to the picture when the subject lit from behind.
Overall Nikon L35AF is a very good film camera for people who want a good camera with best lens quality but does not want to break the bank for something like the Nikon 35TI or the Contax T2.
