The Igbo word, "Ngozi" when translated to English, is "The Blessing". Its a term that speaks of untold and even limitless favorable experiences, as a result of the pre-established state of one who could be termed blessed. This state of being blessed can be brought about by pronouncements or declarations made over a person or thing. The song, "Ngozi", inspired by the "Elevation Worship" original, "The Blessing", is a song that is full of such pronouncements and declarations.

"Ngozi" was written and composed by Akurios, who also performed, recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered the song for Siloam7 Music Inc. The song is an alternative rock tune with strong African traditional rhythmic influences. It also features elements of R&B, with a little bit of traditional Igbo choral arrangement ideas. The intense feel of the song draws the listener to the message of hope and assurance, in the midst of global unrest and uncertainty.
