** I feel like I didn't do a very good job of describing my feelings for Church by Renee Miller. It wasn't that there was TOO much body horror for me in the book. I just wish the plot and the story would have been a little stronger to go with it. The cult itself seemed exactly like other cults that you have read about. And I felt like the story focused way too much on the torture of the cult members and not enough on the characters themselves. **
