The melody was composed by Jean-Philippe Rameau (1683 - 1764): it's a hymn to the Night and to its charm, that brings on Earth hope and peace (french lyrics on first comment).
This is our message of hope in this difficult time, dedicated to all the people all around the world who are suffering and to all those who are fighting this invisible enemy, especially doctors and nurses who are on the front line, hoping that peace will be back soon among us.
