Student Research: Terrence & Gamera
Meet Gamera, a 79 million year old turtle from the Mesaverde Formation of Wyoming! This fossil is one of the most complete fossil turtles yet known from the Mesaverde Formation and over the last two years Terrence Wu '23, a high school senior in our Advanced Studies in Paleontology program, has studied it to learn more about what life was like during the Late Cretaceous.
