Is this the end of paradise? In this new episode of Tierra de Gracia, we travel to Mochima National Park, between the states of Sucre and Anzoátegui, to confront a reality many ignore: the advance of the invasive coral Unomia.
Join me on this journey through the crystal-clear waters of the Venezuelan Caribbean, where not everything is as it seems. We went to investigate the famous "Neptune's Head Coral" and discovered how this invasive species is altering our marine biodiversity.
But Mochima continues to hold incredible secrets:
📍 The Mystery of the Bubbles: I'll show you the phenomenon of the bubbles emanating from the seabed. A tectonic fault or an underground river? I'll tell you what the locals say about this "natural jacuzzi."
📍 Dolphin Sanctuary: We experience the magic of seeing pods of dolphins in their natural habitat. A moment that connects you with life!
📍 Beach Route: We visited Manare Beach, La Gabarra, and Las Maritas, departing from the town of Mochima.
📍 Food and Lodging: We tried the best fried fish at Bahía Restaurant and stayed at the beautiful Posada Villa Majagual, a perfect retreat overlooking the Gulf of Santa Fe.
