The predator is extremely powerful compared to other drones of its size. This also makes it harder to control for most people. But when you get the hang of it, it is extremely fun. It has two speed modes - the default and a faster version which you can change with a touch of a button (bottom left). In the faster mode, it increases the speed. It also has a flip function like many large drones allowing it to do barrel rolls in four directions. It also has a inverted control function.
There is an application you can download, that is in the manual, that can allow you to connect the drone with your iphone or android. You can control the drone and take pictures and videos from the drone's perspective as long as you put the provided SD card (32g) inside. You can shoot some pretty cool videos with this function (see attached video). And if you are really good, you can take some awesome photos of the areal view.
Like most drones, the battery life is about 8 minutes of flight time. But it takes about an hour to charge the battery completely. This is actually fast for drones. When the battery is low, the control will beep several times warning you.
The drone has bumpers to protect your drone from crashes to the walls and has springlike landing gear. The bumpers and landing gear has kept this drone from severe damage to the drone. It has protected the drone from brick walls and cement floors. It is durable and fun but for experienced users of drones.
