Someone to Stay...{Aurora x Nic}AU
Heyyyyy, haven't made anything in a year and return with some self indulgent bs. This is a vid for my D&D character and her husband and only 3 other people will remotely understand any of this.
Aurora Dawn (my Sorcerer) was secreted away by her mother as a baby and after she rescued a child from a fall, she discovered her wings. And was then discovered by a man who seduced her. One night people attacked her home and murdered her mother. She was kidnapped, kept in darkness and eventually murdered for information (that she never had).
The Tree, a symbol of the Undying Light resurrected her as their chosen avatar. She escaped with her new ball of light friend whom she calls Orby (which is a sentient piece of the light that protects her). Rory then became a very isolated person and took jobs with the thieves guild to get by. She also glows now.
She and Nic met in passing at his bar, which has a lot of sanctioned brawls and pretty much were like 'yo they are hot' for a while. One night while on the run from some coworkers who were pissed at her, Nic found Rory beat up and half dead in the alley behind the bar. He took her in and patched her up. Welcome, feelings.
She avoided him for a while after that until the anniversary of her trauma and her mother's death where in she basically jumped his bones and began a friends with benefits relationship with him. He on the other hand was being 100% serious.
He is also a prince (half elf fighter) who left his racist Elven douchebag father to make his own way.
That's all before the game.
Eventually, she tells him her secrets (basically why she a terrified weirdo all the time), pretty much once she admits to herself that she's in love with him, and shows him her wings.
She proposes. They get married. She gets hella murdered at a fight at a masquerade ball. Eventually gets better and gets over it. They obviously fight together. And now shits gone down, Nic's father has been assassinated and they're headed back to his home town cuz he's a King now and somehow Rory will be his Queen even though she is literally the last person who should be royalty. She will panic, this is too much responsibility.
I feel really bad but I don't remember where this coloring is from :(.
