In this video, I show you how to install Kali Linux as a third operating system to complete the trial boot with Windows and Parrot OS.
This is the final guide in the series: we started with the Windows installation, continued with Parrot OS in dual boot, and now we're closing the process with Kali Linux, building a stable, secure, and functional triple boot (trial boot).
A computer with three different operating systems isn't just a technical experiment: it's a practical solution for those studying cybersecurity, ethical hacking, OSINT, and system administration. With this setup, you can have Windows for everyday use, Parrot OS for privacy and OSINT, and Kali Linux for advanced penetration testing, all on the same PC.
🔎 Why add Kali Linux to the trial boot?
Kali Linux is the world's most well-known and used distribution for penetration testing, with hundreds of pre-installed tools for network analysis, exploits, vulnerability testing, cryptography, and security auditing.
Using it alongside Windows and Parrot provides a complete environment for:
learning and practicing cybersecurity professionally;
having an operating system dedicated to ethical hacking;
combining OSINT (Parrot) and pentesting (Kali) on the same computer;
keeping Windows as a base for work, study, and general software.
With this setup, you can transform your PC into an always-available ethical hacking and digital investigation lab.
🛠️ What you'll learn in this video
Boot the Kali Linux installation from a bootable USB.
Properly manage partitions already created by Windows and Parrot.
Choose the right space without deleting anything existing.
Configure the Kali installation as a third operating system.
Update and configure GRUB to recognize all boot systems.
Verify that Windows, Parrot, and Kali work seamlessly together.
Resolve common bootloader and compatibility issues.
📌 Essential Trial Boot Tips
Always back up your important data.
Install the operating systems in the correct order: first Windows, then Parrot, then Kali.
Use dedicated partitions: don't mix file systems.
If your PC uses UEFI, leave the EFI partition intact (required for booting).
When installing Kali, pay attention to the disk section: only choose the partition you prepared.
After installation, enter the BIOS/UEFI and check the boot sequence.
🚀 Advantages of a full trial boot
Three operating systems in a single computer, choosing which one to boot each time.
Windows: A familiar environment for work, study, software, and games.
Parrot OS: A distribution dedicated to privacy, anonymity, and OSINT.
Kali Linux: A complete platform for penetration testing and ethical hacking.
Maximum freedom: You can switch between environments without limits.
