The Biggest Prize Pools In Super Smash Bros History
While Competitive Super Smash Bros has been a thing since the late 90's, it didn't truly begin to pick up until the release of Melee in the early 2000's. With an almost 25 year history, Smash has remained a grassroots scene for a majority of that time, seeing much lower prize pools than most esports despite being a genuinely cooler and better game to spectate. Even though it's a sad truth that you play smash for the love of it more than the money, the community has seen it's fair share of big prize pools throughout it's history.
