Parts of Speech | Introduction | Advanced English Grammar
In this video you will learn all about the introduction of parts of speech. You will also come to know what are kinds of parts of speech how to describe parts of speech in one single word. There are eight parts of speech which include noun, pronoun, adjective, verb, adverb, preposition, conjunction and interjection. Some grammarians include "article" in parts of speech but some discuss it separately. Noun is a naming word, pronoun is a replacing word, adjective is describing or qualifying word, verb is an action or state word, adverb is modifying word which modifies verb, adjective or another adverb, preposition is relating word which shows the relation between subject and object, conjunction is a joining word which joins the two parts of a sentence, while interjection is feeling word which shows the feelings of joy, sorrow or wonder.
