The Magician is blood kin to Aether Realm's Tarot album, although released as a stand alone single. Because of its odd status I had probably listened to the entire Tarot album 10 times before taking a listen to this amazing song. My mistake.
I was recently invited on stage by Jake of AR when I saw them at The Maywood in NC, but I came unprepared as I didn't know the lyrics and had no intention of ruining this absolute banger. Bummer...
I will not be caught off guard again!
Well except for the fact that evidently I hit a manual focus point on my phone when I recorded the video, resulting in an annoying blur throughout. Sighhhh. Such is life when recording live takes. This is one take in its entirety, haze and all. Plus I invited my choir buddies to help out.
