"Never fully Dressed without a Smile!" | Hazbin Hotel - Fan Animation
Hard to believe this is finally finished ;o; This is a personal project I started back in June, and it gradually went from a planned rough sketch storyboard to ending up as a fully inked and rendered animation?? The things hyperfixation does to you.
I am both happy and sad that I will no longer work on this nearly every evening, but I have used up every bit of energy I could possibly have on this 💙 I can't express how much I enjoyed working on this project!
For the story behind it, "Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile" is the song that originally inspired Alastor's creation, and this cover here is sung by Alastor's official VA, Amir Talai. I was dying to see an animation of it, but I haven't seen anyone do it, so I gave it a try.
Finally showing off the whole thing after working on it privately for so long feels scary but I hope you'll like the result! Consider it my little love letter to this show for how much good these characters have done to my mental health in the last months.
