"Go Back for Your Babies!" Pre-Oregon BDR Shakedown Motocamping Trip, Part 2
Before we head out on our week-long Oregon BDR motocamping trip, @ExploreAdventureMoto and I decided it might be wise to take on a shorter multi-night motorcycle camping trip to test our bikes and our gear ahead of time. For this trip, we chose to take on the Old Oregon BDR Route 6 which runs from Crescent Lake to Reedsport Oregon. The first day of our moto camping trip was filled with adversity, snow, and tons of re-routing, but I'm happy to report that the second half of this multi-day motorcycle camping adventure went much more smoothly. Other than running out of gas in my Honda CRF450L and a deer who abandoned her children right in front of us, the trip went great. We managed to complete old Oregon BDR route 6 and make our way up the coast to home. All in all, a very successful motocamping adventure and we worked out a ton of bugs that will help us be successful when we tackle the new Oregon BDR.
