Fancy rats perform amazing tricks
My four young pet rats (now 5 months old) perform tricks such as spin, walking over a rope, jumping, opening a jar and pulling a bucket up. I started training my rats when they were 2 1/2 months old and initially I did not train them with a clicker. All the tricks you see in this video are trained without a clicker, just with a food reward. My next video will show my rats performing tricks trained with a clicker so something to look forward to :-).
My two old rats Charlie and Timmy (nearly 2 years old) are not learning tricks but they like to watch the young rats so you will see them commenting the action.
