Celtic Soul follows Canadian actor and funny man Jay Baruchel on an epic road trip through Canada, Ireland and Scotland with his new friend, well-known Irish soccer journalist Eoin O’Callaghan. It’s a story that spans 200 years of colorful history and that will take the duo eastward from Montreal to Westport, Ireland – where Jay’s ancestors set sail for Canada, like so many others – and finally Glasgow, where Jay will fulfill a lifelong dream: to watch a match at Celtic Park, one of the wildest and most hallowed grounds in world football.

Eoin O’Callaghan: You know people come to Montreal to watch you guys, do they give thanks to you?-
Jay Baruchel: Or does it feel different playing here compared to Vancouver?
Dale Weise: I could have walked around in Vancouver and no one would have known who I was. They would have been like “oh, you like that player?”
Eoin O’Callaghan: You weren’t a Sedin.

Dale Weise: Here people otice me when I'm driving home, I got snow on my windows and people are waving at me I'm thinking they're flipping me off. It’s nuts!

Eoin O’Callaghan: What did you feel like when you played your first game?
Dale Weise: We were from Detroit, got sent here to play the next day and it was incredible like, dream country. My dad was calling me all day because you know I grew up and my dad's the biggest fan too. But to put the jersey on my shoulders it’s different, you just get chills. I’ve played a lot of NHL games, but once I played here its another level.

P.K. Subban: What are you guys doing just kicking it?
Dale Weise: We're just trying to get started. Talking about the history of theMontreal Canadiens and the legends around the room.

Jay Baruchel: Is it stressful?
P.K. Subban: Well I think it's good stress man. I mean, there's not too many other places in the league where you can play that have half the history of the Montreal Canadiens. If anybody at some point is lucky enough to play for this organization.
Jay Baruchel: It has to feel pretty wicked when you do well at the Bell Centre.
Dale Weise: Every game at the Bell Centre is like a playoff game.

P.K. Subban: You look at other franchises that try to, they have to recreate. The Montreal Canadiens don't have to invent anything. They talk to people about this a lot is that the new generation of fans now are now starting to celebrate you know star players, right? The old generation of fans, no matter what the organization, they celebrate the C.H. You know, you find the older generation like I've been a Montreal Canadiens fan all my life since I've been with them. The new generations like, well know Carey Price is my favorite player you know and they're going to be fans of Carey Price whether he plays for the Canadiens or whether he plays somewhere else. But Montreal has that original fan base, no matter what.
Jay Baruchel: We’re older than the NHL. That can’t be overstated enough.
