Testing RGB LED using ESP32 with Marlin on MRR ESPA board

Marlin 2.0 runs on the ESP32 microcontroller, and this is a test of the RGB features in Marlin using the MRR ESPA board. The fan is a RGB CPU fan that uses addressable RGB LEDs (aka NEOPixel), and Marlin will change the LED color to give an indication of the hotend temperature when starting a print.


We also test the BIGTREETECH TFT35 E3 touchscreen to make sure it works with the MRR ESPA. However, such a controller is no necessary since everything can be controlled via the ESP3D web interface. For example, the print in the video was started via the web interface.



The MRR ESPA and MRR ESPE are 3D printer control boards that use the ESP32, which is a microcontroller with Wi-Fi. On Marlin 2.0, it can be used with the ESP3D web interface to allow 3D printers to be controlled with any web browser.



(There seems to be some issue with addressing the RGB LEDs inside the fan, this is likely due to defining the wrong number of LEDs inside Marlin.)
