Had this idea for a satirical s**tpost since last year back when the writers' and actors' strikes were still happening (now one for animators is being considered as we speak). However, it's still relevant because Hollywood's affair with A.I. continues to stick around, so the entertainment industry might as well be run by Rosie the Robot from "The Jetsons". I drew Rosie myself, of course, with Krita and my human hands. No A.I. necessary at all!
In case you don't get it, this video is a direct homage to the scene in "Ren & Stimpy's" first episode, "Stimpy's Big Day", where the head of actor Kirk Douglas (who John K. obsesses over as much as he does with Bob Clampett) randomly pops up and superimposes over the wide shot of Hollywood. It was such a memorable non-sequitur that I had to reference it.
Also, my 2022 short about George Jetson's "birthday" was suddenly getting attention again, so...yeah. Good time to upload this, right?
