The Bee - Stop Motion Animation
This stop motion animation claymation is about the bee. Bees are one of the most hard working insects, most crucial to the biodiversity of planet earth. Sadly but about a third of these bees are declining caused by intensive industrial agriculture, anthropological climate change, habitat loss and environmental pollution. Bees live in a complex tribal, social hierarchy involving the queen bee, the workers and the drone bees. To feed their colony the bees collect plant nectar (containing essential carbohydrates) and pollen (containing vitamins and proteins), also used for the production of honey. It’s a structural process which functions through instinctualized division of labour. I've always wanted to create animations like this because of the importance of the habitual symbiotic world of animals. More animations coming soon.
