Moominvalley Park (ムーミンバレーパーク) is a theme park in Hanno, Saitama, Japan, dedicated to the world of the Moomins – the beloved characters created by Finnish author Tove Jansson. 🌿✨
The idea for the park started in the 2010s to bring the Nordic atmosphere of the Moomins to Japan, where they have been loved since the 1960s. After years of planning, Moominvalley Park officially opened on March 16, 2019. 🎉
The park is part of Metsa Village, a larger complex that celebrates Scandinavian culture and lifestyle. At Moominvalley Park, visitors can explore the blue Moominhouse 🏡, enjoy live shows and stories, walk through scenic forests, ride attractions, and experience the magical world of the Moomins just like in the books and animations.
