Add Account In QuickBooks Online New Interface
This Update to QuickBooks Online tutorial shows the new interface in the chart of accounts that is the update to the “add account” window that happened on May, 19, 2022. These Q.B.O. updates and changes happen all the time. As soon as you click “new account” several circles appear in the right panel. That’ s the new step when you now input a new account. That’s a “general” category that can easily be determined by the account name. The account type pulldown choice is the same. After choosing an account type, the next pulldown choice is the “detailed type” which is the exact same choices as the old interface for adding a new account. The new name for detailed type they show is “Tax Form Section” but it’s the same thing. Then, you put the account name just like before. Then, when you save it, you can look at the chart of account list and see that the tax form section choice is in the “detail type” field and the result is the same as the old interface.
