Meet Maisey, My Baldwin Guinea Pig (4K)
This is Maisey, my new female Baldwin guinea pig. She is almost 5 months old (I mistakenly said she was 3 months old in the video) and shares a cage with Luna. Maisey has lost her hair and is almost completely hairless. She still has whiskers, though. Baldwin guinea pigs are born with hair that falls out in 2-3 months. They are genetically different from skinny pigs. Baldwins are expensive and hard to find. The best way to acquire a rare Baldwin guinea pig is from a breeder.
