Stairs - A Dry Erase Animation with Shepard Tones
A stop-motion animation I made with dry erase markers on transparency film. It depicts some kind of animal watching a ball endlessly bouncing on an infinitely long moving staircase. It’s often the case that things look cooler with the luminance inverted, so the “lights go on and off” every couple of bounces.
The sound was made from Shepard tones in an ascending scale.
