12/12/23 (pm hours) -
10:10 pm - Ava Returns and goes to the back of the House.
8:27 pm - Beau takes Flight. Ava Follows a few minutes later.
8:10 pm - Ava Joins Beau in the House.
7:21 pm - Beau is Back to the House.
6:44 pm - Ava was the first owl to land at the House. She left again.
6:44 pm - Second Barn Owl Follows, stays on the Perch.
6:42 pm - Barn Owl Ava Back at the House
6:26 pm - Ava Joins am Excited Beau.
6:24 pm - Beau finds a Rodent, not sure when it was brought in the House
6:21 pm - Beau is Back in the House.
5:58 pm - Ava is with Beau or the other owl. Can't tell from this angle.
5:48 pm - I'm not sure if this is Beau or the other owl on the Roof. Ava joins the Owl on the Perch. The Vocalizations are consistent with an sounds Ava had made when the other owl is around. But she seems calm, so I'm not sure.
5:47 pm - Ava looks out the door to see what is going on
5:41 pm - Ava is in the House, Beau is monitoring outside
5:33 pm - Ava, up against the back of the House, Vocalizing. Pegasus in response to something Outside.
5:24 pm - Beau mates with Ava, Then quickly Returns to Guarding the Door. It is interesting that Beau does not hold on to Ava's head Feathers for balance while they mate. I wonder if this has something to do with her leg injury.
5:22 pm - Beau starts off by showering Ava with Affection. He then positioned himself at the door to guard from the other owls
5:21 pm - As has become his evening ritual Beau arrives around dusk. Ava was right behind him.

SOME BACKGROUND & INFO
there has been some fight over territory, both by another Barn owl and by great horned owls. We have also had a few visits from screech Owls. Currently the box is primarily occupied by barn Owls Ava and Beau. The other barn Owls Vying For the House may be Lucy and Sid, the prior occupants.
