Nymphing in the Spring for Wild Trout
In this quick video, I nymph up a handful of fish in about 3-4 different runs in total. Spring flows and temps were incredible and it led to phenomenal fishing. Believe it or not, this video is a "prequel" to my last few videos. I started the day in what you see here, then as this video ends I started recording a segment on Sighter Angle, which came out recently. Right after this ended, I went upstream and fish an extremely productive run and film the "Euro Nymphing: The Simple Way". Overall, it was a spectacular day. The most consistent flies were :
Sz 14-16 Sulphur(ish) PT's and Thread Frenchies. These flies can prove to be effective in any water system and are staples in my rotation/box.
