Josh Yarbrough: Veteran. Golfer.
KFDM Ch. 6 News reports at Games People Play on Sgt. Josh Yarbrough's story which is an impetus for the bigger conversation of military veterans coming home and trying to get back to the things they loved to do. For Josh, it's golf (and fishing).
Sgt. Josh Yarbrough a 26yr old Marine veteran had a huge surprise after we heard he was wanting to get back to doing what he loved before his injuries - which was to get back on the golf course. We are honored to assist Josh with his goal by scoring some new clubs (for both he and his 6yr old son), new outfits, and some private lessons with our PGA Pro, Kurt Picard.
Vets are returning home everyday to the communities to which they so bravely fought to protect. Thank a veteran. We also salute Rachael, as the wife of a Marine vet and Super Mom to her two young sons. We can't wait to see Josh here soon to slip some golf shoes on his prosthesis and get him started swinging again with those new Callaway Golf clubs, then play a round with him here soon.
