Perfect complement goods are goods that consumers like to consume together. For example, consumers would not only want to purchase a left shoe. For a consumer to be happy with a left shoe he would also need a right shoe to compliment the left shoe. If a consumer was offered two left shoes and one right shoe then he would have the same utility as if he was offered one left shoe and one right shoe. However, if he was offered two left shoes and two right shoes then the consumer would have a higher utility than if he was offered only one left and one right shoe. The Indifference Curve would be L-shaped.
