THIS IS BIG: Total War Pharaoh Dynasties Is Going FULL HISTORICAL
Campaign Customization for TURNS PER YEAR, actual FAMILY TREE MECHANICS (with what looks like some real depth), MORTALITY & SUCCESSION SYSTEMS and much more! The final dev blog for the upcoming Dynasty Version of Total War: Pharaoh is here and it goes through some very exciting changes being introduced to the game.
Today I want to do a thorough breakdown of the dev blog, going through each detail from the deities to the changes to legitimacy, royal court and legacies all the way to how family trees and mortality will work. There are still lot's of question marks and of course mechanics that I would have liked to have seen in this update (namely a deeper trading network) but overall there is a lot of cause for positivity in this free update coming to Pharaoh.
