WordPress Disable Plugin Update Checks | Stop Checking for New Updates
By default WordPress checks for new updates for the themes and plugins. But sometime you can not update a plugin when you have made customizations to the plugin code. The problem is you always see the new update available message on the dashboard. For me it is annying.
The 'Disable updates, Updates manager, Disable automatic updates' plugin offers the option to disable the the new update checkings.
