How to Assemble Xbox Series X|S Controller
This is the 4’th generation controller that was released in November 2020 with the Xbox Series X and S consoles.
This controller differentiates from older controllers with the added share button, the usb C port on the back and the smooth front plate design.
Also the hybrid D-pad is different as well as the added grip texture on the handlebars.

Due to the way YouTube Algorithm works I decided to cut some parts from the initial tutorial and split it into two separate videos (the Disassembly video and the Assembly video). 1.There are some wires inside the controller that might come off from the electronic board depending on how you handle the parts during the disassembly process.
They are not hard to solder back, but if you don’t have the soldering tools or skills, you should think twice about taking apart your controller.
2.There is a specific order of the steps that you have to take in order to disassemble and reassemble this controller.
Otherwise you might lose some parts or you might forget to install a piece or two and have to do the work twice.
So try following this tutorial all the way without skipping forward as you might miss a step.
3.From my experience, there will be some parts bouncing off or randomly falling down from the controller.
So do this in a safe area where you can find any small pieces that might get lost.
4.And finally, this video is intended for general Information only. If not done properly, you can INJURE yourself or DAMAGE your Xbox controller.
If you are not sure what you are doing I advise you to ask for help or take your controller to a professional.
