@ProfeGustavoTecnologia "School and home educational process project, aimed at getting started in electricity and electronics." Making an LED Voltage Tester, reusing SMD LEDs from burned out Lamps/Bulbs and connecting 10 LEDs in Parallel.
In this tutorial, I will guide you through creating a practical circuit that will allow you to know the voltage of your LEDs.
To start, you will need some basic components, such as a 9 volt battery, a 1 k ohm resistor, cables to make the connections, and most importantly, a tester or multimeter that will help you measure the voltage values of your LEDs.
Although it may seem complicated, the circuit we are going to build is simple and effective. Don't worry if you don't have previous experience in electronics, I will guide you step by step. At the end of the video, I will provide you with a complete schematic of the circuit so you can capture it and use it in your projects.
First, you will learn how to connect the components correctly to your tester/multimeter and how to measure the voltage of a 9-volt battery. Then, I'll show you how to connect this circuit to burnt-out LEDs. It is important to note that each lamp can have LEDs with different voltages, and this tester will allow you to find out how much voltage they need.
You will see examples of LEDs with different voltages, which demonstrates the diversity of LEDs that you can find in lamps. Not all of them operate at the same voltage. Additionally, I will show you how to connect 10 LEDs in parallel directly to a 9 volt battery. Surprisingly, they work perfectly without burning.
For those unfamiliar with soldering, we will also share a way to connect LEDs without needing to solder them on. You won't want to miss this trick in the next video.
We will experience the effect of adding resistors in series to LEDs and how this affects their performance and brightness. You will learn that resistors are current limiters and how they can help you control the intensity of light emitted by LEDs.
This video is perfect for those who want to take advantage of LEDs from defective lamps for interesting projects, for students interested in learning about voltages, resistances and electrical components, and for all electronics enthusiasts.
At the end of the video, you will also get information about Ohm's law, and circuits in full screen.
