New Scottsdale Patton Commander Coin
This purchase satisfies the StackCollector in me, given that it's both a big hunk of four nines silver and a limited mintage coin. Reading the history of General George S. Patton, he had a fantastic military history. One of his most famous quotes was, “Lead Me, Follow Me or Get Out of My Way.“ This is the second in the Scottsdale Mint's 'Commander' Series of coins of which only 4,999 will be minted. A little bit of a premium, per ounce, to get one of these, but I believe it will be a popular series to collect. I'll pop this one out (eventually) from it's capsule so you can see it's unique characteristics and show another two silver coins I picked up along the way too.
