Freddy heeft veel succes als kamermeisje in een toneelstuk op het feest van de universiteit. Na de voorstelling ontmoet hij Alyse Trevors. Zij ziet wel wat in hem, maar haar ouders niet. Haar moeder schrijft hem dan ook dat Alyse hem niet meer wil ontvangen. Freddy gelooft dit niet en solliciteert als kamermeisje bij de Trevors. In zijn toneelkleren en met de getuigschriften van zijn eigen kamermeisje wordt Freddy aangenomen. Alyse is blij als ze Freddy weer ziet. Tijdens een feestje weet Freddy een dief te ontmaskeren en de ouders van Alyse vinden Freddy nu wel geschikt voor hun dochter.
