Northern Monster Boar - Cinegetics
I will never be able to tell you if it is a gold medal boar, not even the points that its tusks give because years ago I stopped homologating animals. I know very well what each one made me feel and that for me is the true trophy. Just having the opportunity to hunt a huge northern boar like this is a triumph.
It turns out that the wild boars of the north reach old age because in these areas there is no one to wait for them, the immensities of the mountains are so enormous that it is an almost useless practice.
In these mountains the wild boars have many places to escape from dogs and men and that is why they arrive old and from time to time you can find a huge wild boar like this one.
And if you are also lucky enough to see how the wolves take the opportunity to feast, the wild hunting experience could not be more authentic.
I am well aware that I will never find the exact words to describe how you made me feel, and that is my true trophy, your memory, the glory days when, far from the world, I daydreamed in your footsteps, searching for that moment in that I feel alive again, and perhaps the luckiest man in the world because that moment, just a few seconds, become an eternal and imperishable memory in my memory and, when my body can no longer follow the rhythms that the mountain demands, I will return to look for you in my memories on those eternal slopes always flowery and wild that made me touch the sky with my own hands… thank you for so much.
