EVERYTHING WRONG WITH AMAZON • WHY YOU SHOULD STOP SHOPPING AT AMAZON [DEEP DIVE]
This video is a deep dive into everything that is wrong with Amazon and why I personally decided to avoid shopping at Amazon as well as supporting any of their affiliate companies in the future. There are many reasons why Amazon is not a very great company and I go into detail into each of those reasons: 1) Amazon unlike other stores avoids all the responsibility for anything that is sold on their platform; so Amazon is known to sell counterfeit brands, low quality and hazardous items, products with fake claims and non-certified products, as well as some illegal things 2) Amazon is practicing very unfair competitions and due to its size and power can control industries and dictate prices etc; they also own too many companies and technically are trying to monopolize many areas 3) Although being one of the biggest online retailers Amazon avoids paying federal taxes, receives lots of tax returns and uses millions to lobby laws in their interests 4) Amazon uses lots of unethical practices (using sellers data to push their own products etc) 5) They treat their workers very unfair and often working conditions are horrible 6) They're scoring very low on the sustainability criteria, are very nontransparent and are one of the worst big companies in terms in CSR
