Alarm Shelving
One of the core components of operator effectiveness is the ability of the control system to provide the alarm shelving functionality. This enables the operator to temporarily "shelve" alarms in order to complete routine tasks and keep nuisance alarms from cluttering up his console. This functionality is built into System 800xA, no external tools are required.
