“I met Esben years ago in a bar. He used to DJ at the parties we did in our home after our shows in the early days of GANNI. And would always have everyone dancing all night. I remember going to see one of Esben's early solo shows at Copenhagen Contemporary. I walked away feeling so awakened by what I saw but also this raw talent. I love his approach to the art world; he's gone his own way. It's been amazing watching this talent grow. So I’m super proud to see his success now.
We always seem to have this creative connection, tapping into what we are feeling. When we bumped into each other last year, he was telling me about the Arken show titled BUTTERFLY! And we had just finalized our new logo. It felt so in sync with how I was feeling about GANNI's journey and new chapter of transformation. There is a serendipity to that.”
