Engaging Patients and Communities in HEAL Research
HEAL research focuses on finding scientific solutions to stem the opioid crisis and address the treatment needs of patients with diverse types of acute and chronic pain. However, approaches conceived in a research setting cannot be effective if they do not meet the needs of patients in real-world settings.
