Razor Cut Bob with Petal Detailing
Some close-ups of razor cutting different sections on a bob. The combination of large and tiny “petals” cut throughout creates lots of styling options as it grows out. The short face-framing pieces turn into perfect cheekbone bits as the bob gains a few inches over the next few months. I also carved a few extra petals into the bangs for texture and added detail.
Styling Sara’s hair was super quick—it took all of two minutes. I blew it dry with just my hands and added a quarter-size dollop of Hair Balm for shine and definition.
This is the exact hair type I first learned to cut on. It’s where I figured out how to carve into thick, stick-straight hair to create effortless flow (instead of that choppy look). Back then, I used scissors—opening them up to carve into the hair. When I found the razor (and learned how to use it properly), it completely set me free.
